Ana is a Clinical Psychologist who specialized in Health and Forensic psychology. Her practice is built on the understanding that psychological wellbeing affects everyone, regardless of age, professional success, or external circumstances.
Prior to her work as a psychologist, Ana completed advanced studies in economics and spent more than a decade in financial institutions and consultancy, including managerial positions.
Her clinical training spans diverse settings across Europe and the Middle East, including public healthcare systems, community mental health services, forensic settings, inpatient psychiatric units, and private practice.
Ana has particular expertise in supporting individuals through acute mental health crises, relationship breakdowns, family conflicts, trauma, grief, and the psychological challenges that accompany serious medical conditions. For older adults, she addresses the psychological dimensions of aging including grief and loss, health challenges, retirement transitions, relationship changes, and the search for meaning and fulfilment in later life. For high-functioning individuals, she creates a space where they can address struggles they may feel unable to share elsewhere and the gap between external success and internal experience.
Based in Dubai since 2018, Ana has supported clients from diverse cultural backgrounds navigating the particular challenges of expatriate life, cross-cultural relationships, career transitions in new environments, and the isolation that can accompany major life changes or medical challenges far from home. She also has extensive experience working with organizations on workplace wellbeing, critical incident response, and mediation.
