Heenal is a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families presenting with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma and post‑traumatic stress, neurodiversity‑related challenges, emotional dysregulation, self‑harm, behavioural and attachment difficulties, identity and developmental concerns, and complex relational or systemic patterns.
Known for her calm, grounded, and emotionally attuned presence, Heenal offers a containing therapeutic space that balances emotional depth with clear clinical structure. Her work centres on emotional meaning, regulation, and relational patterns, supporting insight and sustainable psychological change. Heenal’s clinical practice is integrative and trauma‑informed, grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, EMDR, play therapy, and systemic approaches. She works with children and adolescents within their family and wider systems, recognising that meaningful and lasting change develops through relationships.

Her background spans Children & Adolescents Mental Health Services (CAMHS), acute and crisis services, and multidisciplinary systems including schools, social care, and safeguarding teams within the UK’s NHS system – providing a strong foundation for safe formulation and intervention in complex and high‑risk presentations; alongside a decade in private practice. Heenal is also a trained clinical supervisor for mental health professionals.
