Lina Doumani has over twenty years of in-depth experience in the field of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Her experience spans a wide array of services related to Diet and Disease Therapy including Diabetes, Heart Disease, Weight management, eating disorders and Psychology of eating.

 

Lina holds a master’s degree in clinical nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College, University of London, United Kingdom. She also trained in New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, with a stay at Joslin Diabetic Center. She further trained at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, United Kingdom, in Food Service Management and production of Therapeutic Diets.

 

Lina has worked as an Instructor in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at the American University of Beirut. She also headed Dietary Departments in several hospitals. After gaining experience in outpatient nutrition consulting services Lina found her passion in treating individuals suffering from eating disorders. She is a trained eating disorders practitioner and an active member of the Academy of Eating Disorders in the US.

Languages Spoken: Arabic, English and moderate in French.

  • Maudsley Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA).
  • Medical Nutritional Therapy (MNT).
