Psychological Assessment

We are here to help

Psychological Assessment

Psychological assessment with an appropriately trained professional can provide valuable information and insights into how you think, feel, act and much more. Assessments usually involve exploration of how you are feeling and any areas of wellbeing you may be struggling with currently. The psychologist or therapist will also usually explore with you the possible reasons why you may feel as you do and other influencing factors. Triggers may be in the here and now, or perhaps related to earlier life experiences. Sometimes you may not know why you feel the way you do, and that is common. The aim is to work collaboratively with the professional to understand what might be going on and consider ways of improving your wellbeing.

After your assessment, our experts will be able to make recommendations on next steps and agree a plan collaboratively with you. Recommendations may include psychological therapy, interventions to support your specific needs or capabilities, referrals to different specialists for further assessments or support, and/or lifestyle changes.
